Wendy Ramshaw, multi-talented artist, architectural designer jewellery designer and a major contributor to the ‘New Wave’ of jewellery modernism is renowned for her diverse use of materials.
Inspired by the copper and brass plates she used while working in the etching department of Reading University, Wendy adapted the plates by hammering, drilling, polishing and linking them until the could be used as pendants or ornaments. With progress, Wendy’s jewellery developed, becoming more complex over time.
The best example of her work is the incredible collection of geometric ring sets, for which she is best known.
